Kyambura Gorge Lodge
A modern and eclectic base for an adventurous safari
Kyambura Gorge Lodge, located in a converted old coffee processing plant nestled into a green hillside, is a modern and eclectic base for an adventurous safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
There are eight bandas to choose from, including four newer deluxe bandas, each with en-suite bathrooms and private balconies overlooking the park and coffee plantation and reflecting local building styles. The chic bandas have a modern theme as well, with local artifacts serving as part of the attractive decoration. Each banda offers a unique view either across the savanna or the gorge.
The main lodge – which was once the processing plant – features a vibrant living area and outdoor decking area with a recently redesigned and upgraded swimming pool, while a new spa promises to rejuvenate guests even further.
Chimpanzee trekking, wetland tours, safaris into Queen Elizabeth National Park, boat cruises on the Kazinga Channel, hiking, coffee plantation visits, and other activities are available from here.
