Mahogany Springs, located on the banks of the pristine Munyanga River and facing the Impenetrable Forest, is a beautiful lodge with a strong emphasis on service.
The main building is surrounded by a large terrace from which guests can enjoy views of the forest and relax to the sound of the river flowing gently by. Sink into a chair in front of the fireplace in the living room with a book, or order a drink from the bar before dining in the restaurant or on the terrace. To ensure that everything is as fresh as possible, the majority of the produce used is grown on-site.
Each suite is named after an English royal from the past or present, and it has large double doors and windows, as well as en-suite bathrooms with open terracotta showers. They also have private balconies with views of the grounds, river, and surrounding forest.
The presidential suite provides the ultimate in privacy, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a spacious living room, and a large private terrace.
There’s plenty to keep you busy at Mahogany Springs, including gorilla tracking, birdwatching, tree planting, and nature walks. And once you’ve had your fill of exploring, it’s the ideal place to simply relax, unwind, and take in the breathtaking scenery.
