Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate, seasonal property set in a delightful, ancient acacia forest, located next to the quiet Lemala access route on the rim of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater.
With only eight luxury tents and one family tent, you can be assured of a relatively private experience in a pristine forest setting. Each tent has a gas heater, large single or king-size beds with warm duvets, wooden flooring with rugs, 24-hour solar lighting, en-suite bathrooms with a dressing area, flush toilet, and a large safari shower.
The mess tent is elegantly furnished with grand sofas, lamps, book shelves, and corner cabinets made of old wood, chests, and rugs. You all gather around the campfire for sundowners before dining under chandeliers in the evening.
Walks from the camp into the forest and along the crater rim with an armed ranger and a Masai provide spectacular views of the crater and insight into the forest’s animals.
