This city hotel offers a comfortable base from which to explore the city, with only eleven uniquely designed en-suite rooms set in 2.5 acres of green gardens. You can visit the Giraffe Centre, the Daphine Sheldrick Orphanage, or any of the city’s many markets and museums, including the famous Karen Blixen Museum, on your own.
The journey from the airport can be quite an adventure, with a true taste of Nairobi’s hustle and bustle. Surprisingly, the name of the house contains all of the initials of the family who owns and runs this boutique hotel, in chronological order. The private home was built in the 1970s and was meticulously refurbished over the course of nearly three years to make it suitable for guests passing through the capital.
