This lodge is the perfect complement to a Masai Mara game experience, as it is located within the Mbirikani Group Ranch, which spans over 283,000 acres of land. The landscape is ideal for a wide range of plains game, and it is also home to a large Maasai community.
The camp has only six en-suite luxury tented rooms and two beautiful suites, all of which are raised up on wooden platforms with thatched roofs, in keeping with the lodge’s eco-friendly vibe. The camp is centered on Tembo House, which has a veranda overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro and the Tsavo Hills. Tembo House is an open plan dining/living room built from local materials, ideal for a relaxing evening, where you can enjoy freshly prepared Italian or local cuisine.
Kanzi House is an additional exclusive and completely private property. It is ideal for families, as it has a maximum capacity of ten people per group and can accommodate six adults and four children. Kanzi House, with its large 18-metre swimming pool, provides an almost resort-like experience that is in keeping with the lodge’s eco-credentials.
Antonella and Luca, your hosts, are passionate about Kenya and want to provide you with an unforgettable experience. They have their own Cessna 206 that you can hire privately to get to the lodge and boasts views that many scenic flights charge extra for.
